Residents are one of the greatest untapped resources in Concord - they have great ideas and energy! But for too long, residents have frequently been ignored by the City Council, or discouraged from offering their perspective on how to make Concord a better place to live.

Too often, City Council members get much of their feedback from people whose interests aren't necessarily aligned with residents. Or else they subscribe to the approach of "talk more, listen less." Rather than wanting to hear what you think, elected officials often want to tell you what to think.
